Heading up the M62 from West Yorkshire to the Lake District is becoming a yearly tradition. April 2023 was my first time there and naturally; I’m drawn to the landscape. We’re not short of a big hill, a body of water, or sheep in the Northwest of Ireland, so from day one I felt at home in the Cumbrian countryside.
